It all started with my parents being always supportive in everything I do. But really it started with my dad being a carpenter / woodworker his whole life. He has taught me a great deal about woodworking, hard work, and life in general.

In 2019 I wanted to start a business in woodworking and bounced around names for the business, then it happened. My dad was 87 years old and a wood master in my mind. He is 91 years old this year 2025 and still turns bowls and other things for grand children. He is a wealth of knowledge and an inspiration to me. So this is how 87 Wood Master was started and named, to honor my dad and carry on the woodworking tradition. I am by no means a master at woodworking but pour my heart, soul, and love into all that I make.
